Sky Racing provides secure encrypted digital video transmission across Australia using channels on the Optus Aurora B3 satellite platform. Access to a second digital satellite channel is available, allowing telecast of Business Television programmes when Sky Racing is broadcasting regular programming.

Sky Racing also has international capacity via the Thaicom satellite which enables transmission to Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Eastern Europe.

A large network of permanent leased fibre circuits across Australia allows delivery of video material into the Sky Racing facility.

Permanent leased two way digital fibre circuits Sydney - Los Angeles allows easy access to deliver and receive material from North America and beyond. A similar fibre connects Sydney - Auckland providing the access across the Tasman.

Sky Racing's studio facility has the latest digital routing and vision switching capability. The 140 square metre floor, with cloth cyclorama on two sides has four cameras, autocue, character generator, 24 channel audio mixer and quality television lighting.
